Where the renewal price is stated
Basic Web Hosting
“Basic Web Hosting Starting at $ 6.71 /mo Renews at 8.95 /mo”
Source: https://www.knownhost.com/web-hosting · observed 2026-08-24 · confidence medium · Term confirmed 2026-08-30: the page's term buttons carry pkg-active on "3 Year", so the $6.71 'Starting at' price is the 3-year rate. The price element names no term itself, which is why this needed checking. Money-back days and free domain are not stated on this page. Standard: $9.71 -> $12.95; Premium: $29.96 -> $39.95.
Professional Web Hosting
“recommended ... Professional Web Hosting Starting at $ 14.96 /mo Renews at 19.95 /mo”

Cheaper over the same 36 months
16 of the 25 hosts I can price come in under KnownHost's $241.56 over 36 months. The three cheapest:
- ChemiCloud Starter $53.64 saving $187.92
- AccuWeb Hosting Budget (Best Cheap Web Hosting) $71.64 saving $169.92
- HostArmada Start Dock $71.64 saving $169.92
The rule is arithmetic and nothing else: a host appears here only if it publishes a renewal price and a full 36-month total can be computed from prices actually observed, and the order is that total, cheapest first. Hosts whose intro term is not published cannot be priced and are left out rather than guessed at. None of these pay me anything. Switching costs an afternoon; the week before a renewal is when to do it.
