Privacy

This site sets no cookies and stores no personal data about visitors.

What we record

• Page views and clicks on outbound links, counted on our server with the page, the traffic source (for example "hn" or "reddit"), the country and a coarse device type (mobile/desktop). We do not store IP addresses or full browser user-agent strings.
• Calculator use (that a calculation ran and which options were chosen), tied to a random session id kept in your browser's sessionStorage that disappears when you close the tab.
• Email address, only if you subscribe to price alerts. The list is hosted by Kit; every email has an unsubscribe link and we never share or sell addresses.

Outbound links

Links marked as affiliate links pass through our redirect (/go/…) so we can count clicks, then take you to the vendor. The vendor's own privacy policy applies from there; they may set cookies to attribute a purchase to this site.
